So I went to Armour after BSLC. AISL ( armour infantry section leader course )

A 22 week course and Im already 9 weeks through it, this is getting tiring..

Ill be getting my 3rd Sgt rank on 5th March and of course together with it a nice pay increase :D

I just wonder, Singapore's water has already been proven drinkable many years ago, so why do most people just rather thrist and dry up but still avoid drinking from the tap? Does boiling water really help in anyway or is it just the taste factor?

My dad came into the kitchen and shouted :" WHY DO WE NOT HAVE WATER TO DRINK IN THE HOUSE?" When there was out of 'COOKED WATER'

Also friends that have to boil their water before drinking in a chalet.

Are people just paranoid about the millions bacteria hovering around in tap water?

That I will never know. To me, one can never be to clean, exposure to little bacteria improves the immunity system.

On the package it says, Navy Survival Kit.

To my surprise, it contained a pair of slippers and a small bottle of sunblock.

Also together with a piece of paper asking me to sign on.

IT'S SUPER DUPER ULTRA EXTRA LONG HOLIDAY TIME TIME AGAIN!!!

Well this time it's really darn long. It seems like my enlistment letter will never come. (ahah I bet I'm actually the only one looking forward to crazy ass waste 2 years of my lifetime doing shit NS)

So.. how am I going to spend my days before my enlistment? GOOOT question.

Basically, if I don't get a job, I won't have enough money to do stuff.
BUT, if I do get a job, I won't have enough time to do stuff.
DOH!

Now that really sucked.

So what's the conclusion?

GET A JOB ANYWAY.

Vocational Assessment at Sembawang Naval Base

Went for my VA (Vocational Assessment) for NDU (Naval Diving Unit) yesterday.

Waking at at 6am is not as easy as compared to Secondary school days.. ZzzZZ
Dragged myself out of bed so that I could read Sembawang MRT at 7.30am
Yada yada yada~~~

So now at the NDU park of Sembawang Camp. This is madness, even the clerks have 6 packs lol.
Clerks there are basically those who got injured during diver's training and got OOC (out of course).

Yeah so firstly was the physical test, not much of anything just some pull ups and standing board jump. Following up was the swimming confidence test. And after that was an interview with a NDU officer.

So finished that and waited for lunch, after lunch waited for our Medical Screening which took our lung capacity, hear test bla bla bla.

After all that test and talking with the MO (Medical Officer), went off to the Hydrobaric Chamber (some chamber that the atmospheric pressure can be changed) to test if our ears can withstand the pressure. Simulated a 10m undersea dive.

Then with more waiting time, off for dinner.

Last but not least, the Psyho test. 400+ personality and IQ questions, that really took the crap out of my brains.

So it ended at 8.30pm. What a day -___-

If i don't get a enlistment letter during April for tekong intake in June I'll most probably recieve the NDU one which will come in June for intake in August.

Singapore's game play was quite terrible, so many chances to score a goal, didn't dared to shoot when they had the chance to but instead insisted on passing.

QURANTINED AKA REC

Went to watch Qurantined to see the difference between the latter and REC.

In my pervious post i said it was a dub version of REC, well it's not. It is a remake of it.

Both shows have 90% similar content, just that REC is filmed in Barcelona in Spanish and Qurantined is filmed in Los Angeles.

So heres the review, REC is a better movie.
Qurantined is like a fast forwarded version and does not really explain about what is happening, if you have watched REC you should understand whats happening at the ending but if you only watched Qurantined, i guess you'll be going "huh?".

No wonder friends always say Qurantined is a sucky show!

So if you wanna go watch Qurantined, i suggest you just watch REC.

REC aka QURANTINED

Watched REC, which is the un-dubbed spanish version of qurantined.
I don't like watching dubbed movies and videos, i prefer it subttitled because original voice expressions are always better.

This movie is quite a different one from other types of horror movies.

The movie is watched through sort of like a 1st person view. There is this camera-man character in the movie and your view is through his camera. So when he puts his camera on the floor, you can only see the floor and so on.

Movie takes place in a building where the people inside are sealed in because of some viral infection. This infection is transfered through bites of the infected individuals. Those infected will go extremely agressive like some crazy zombie wanting the bite the shit out of you.

The way they film it makes it quite a scary one. I almost shit in my pants at one point. lol.

Because is Spanish and English subtitled, no matter how scary you will still have to watch else you won't understand nuts without reading the subs.

For those who haven watched this movie yet, go watch it at night, it's loads of fun =D

Rojak man is back. Rojak being a mix of everything here and there, knows alot of skills and stuff, but a master at non.

Let me recap, what was the last thing i learned out of interest? Ahh yes.. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

It's been 3 days into my internship at KPMG. (For those who dunno KPMG, their ranked the 4th biggest auditing firms)

I've got the learn a new programming language called COBOL.

and COBOL, if you search it in wiki, it's created in 1959. It's an ancient program lol.

The amazing thing is that most banks and auditing firms are still using it shows that how good the program is.

The interface of the program is like DOS, woo! The mouse is almost next to useless and everything is pretty much dependent on the keyboard. There are no pictures or whatsoever with the whole program in wordings.

The language used is somewhat different from the commonly use Java or C++

Anyway, there is a high demand in COBOL programmers because not many people know about COBOL programming.

Which also means if i am able to master it, i can make big bucks haha. Higher demand = higher pay ^_^

THATS IF I CAN TAHAN TILL THEN.

Staring at COBOL for 8 +/- hours a day is killing me so im off to sleep.

- Worked in my father's office
- Went back to karate which i disappeared for 4 months
- Received NS enlistment letter
- NP Anglers' Pond fishing event
- Decides that i should pack my room but haven done that yet

Yeah that pretty much sums it up.
I may have done some other stuff, but i may not remember them because of its mere importance

Yeah i know it doesn't sound too interesting, but how interesting can yours get? XD

Yesterday NP Anglers' went over to PRPP (Pasir Ris Pro Pond) for a fishing event.

Sun was scorching hot. I have though become a red lobster.

It's been too long since i took out my rod and reels and even mistakes came out while tying a hook.

The fight of a fish has always been exciting and exhilarating.

Today, was a mini-shakedown for all SingaporeGP officals.

Btw first of all i would like you all to know, SingaporeGP does not only consist of F1.

F1 means the category of the race, Formula One, which consist of the world's best drivers.

There are other categories in SingaporeGP like the BMW bla bla bla....

But who cares, people want to watch the Ferrari and Maclaren.

Mini-Shakedown was interesting, went through precedures, absorbed lots of sun, got our bright orange overalls.

Didn't take any photos though, too busy.

Currently, my grandma has is in the SICU ( Special Intensive Care Unit )

She has just finished 2 operations which both for the removal of some overgrown glands in her neck.

These operations are simple for the young but she is of old age, so it may cause side effects like a heart attack.

I pray for quick recovery and may she get out of this situation well.

Movie Review, Batman : The Dark Knight

Before anyone watches this movie, i suggest you watch the part 1 first. You won't understand the beginning of the show if you haven't watched part 1.

Ya know, i actually think that Christian Bale is too skinny for a batman ahah.

Heath Ledger played an excellent Joker. Although not really similar to the one at DC comics, but it was excellent for the movie. Great psychopath actor. Even the voice of the joker was top notch.

Lastly, i didn't expect the appearance of two-face to be so "artistic". I was thinking his other face would just be like the one on "Batman Forever" but NOoooo. Shall not put a picture cos it will scare kiddies away hahaha.

Ok, nuff said, it's time for you to go watch the movie and enjoy it yourself.

Overall, 8.5/10

possible candidate for a movie of the year.

Firsty, this has to be got the most "KUA ZHANG" show i have ever watched, EVER.

Curving bullets, Wax recoverys, out of this world car stunts.
And BEST OF THE BEST = SUPER DUPER ULTRA LONG RANGE SNIPER RIFLE

Nevertheless, i give 10/10 for the CGI.

Overall for me is 6.5/10

Well final comments, if you want a show even more james bond then james bond himself, go watch it.
